While scientists are usually engrossed in their work and are focused on expanding the boundaries of knowledge, it’s an entrepreneur to make that discovery into the form of a product or service that will benefit society. This requires a different set of abilities, such as scepticism and an increased focus on the material. While science is often driven by intuition, curiosity and prior knowledge, it’s essential to include scepticism and methods like external and internal peer review, randomized control trials, and so on to prevent blind optimism.
